Praxis is a free framework for the management of projects, programmes and portfolios. It brings together a body of knowledge, methodology, competence framework and capability maturity model: a single integrated framework with a single structure and terminology, supported by a knowledgebase of resources and an encyclopeadia. The latter contains explanations of many techniques and models used in project, programme and portfolio management, very useful to continuous learning and development of project, programme and portfolio managers. The main merit of this important, community driven work is in Adrian Dooley, honorary fellow at APM (Association for Project Management).
People from Italy, France, Brazil and Poland became translating the framework in their language, on a voluntary basis. The little Italian team is moving forward with the translation at a good pace. Within this group of volunteers, along with Luca Gambetti, lead trainer at E-quality Italia Srl, Giulia Zavattaro Ardizzi and Marco Pazzi, there is also Sabrina Scaroni, a founding partner of Project Management Europa.
You can find this interesting framework (with Italian translation in progress, too) and further information on Praxis website; for Italian translation please visit also E-quality Italia website, devoting to it a specific section.  Take a look!
